Throwing a mug, long version

This is a longer, real-time version of throwing a mug. The clay is already centered, we open the well and create the inside of the bottom of the mug. Then a couple of pulls of the clay to match our other mugs already thrown, clean off the form with the sponge and get any water out of the inside of the piece. Finally we trim off the extra clay near the bottom, cut off the clay with a wire tool, then lift the piece off the bat and set it next to the other matching forms. We will trim the piece, creating a finished foot on the bottom of the mug and pull and handle to create a nice feel after attaching the handle to the mug in the leather hard stage of drying.
